Beth Williams, DVM
Dr. Beth Williams has been practicing veterinary medicine since graduating from Virginia Tech in 1994. Practicing in the fields of large and small animals, her experience and wealth of knowledge assists her in treating our furry companions. Since 2014, Dr. Williams has been the primary veterinarian and owner of 11th Street Veterinary Hospital. Surgery, Dental Care, Nutrition and Early Prevention are areas which she is passionate. Dr. Williams employs an examination approach she calls "Tip (of the nose) to Tail", this ensure every system of her patient is fully examined for exceptional care. Techniques of the Fear Free program are reinforced in the hospital so your fur baby will be as comfortable and relaxed as possible.
Unfortunately, COVID-19 affected Dr. Williams in a personal and professional manner. After contracting the virus, a total of 7 times, Dr. Williams needed to make procedural changes if she wanted to keep caring for your fur babies. Due to her experience and knowledge base, she is able to use tele-medicine appointments to ensure continued care for her patients. Dr. Williams understand tele-med can be uncomfortable, but she tries to the best of her ability to provide a comprehensive examination for her patients and a thorough explanation for her clients. Relief veterinarians work alongside Dr. Williams at 11th Street Vet
Dr. Williams is optimistic about her return to 11th Street Vet Hospital when her health allows.
